All cleaning is performed by experienced technicians. Cleaning is done in an ESPORTA Wash System machine that has no agitator. This means that there is less wear and tear on your blankets while they are being cleaned. The machine has eight separate compartments for securing the items that are being washed. This front-loading machine is controlled via a microprocessor.

Our four step wash process uses a mild environmentally safe enzyme-based detergent for cleaning. Once the blankets have been washed they are then disinfected using an enzyme-based sanitizer.

All items are dried in the machine until they reach a moisture content of 15% and then are removed and dried on a line. We highly recommend that blankets be cleaned on a regular basis.
The Esporta system goes through a series of wash, rinse, and extract cycles before the final drying process. The System uses advanced detergents, disinfectants and a finishing fragrance to ensure that your products are professionally cleaned. This includes our Force disinfectant which effectively eliminates bacteria and fungus from the equipment.

The detergent we use is gentle on equine garments, and contains no harmful deodorizers or any other chemicals that may cause irritation or discomfort to the horse.

Any repeated laundering of the horse blankets would remove the factory repellent finish. And what good is a horse blanket that doesn't repel rain and snow? It's worse than no blanket at all!

We restore this factory repellency with a DBW treatment. This revolutionary product treats the blankets with a specially formulated polymer that penetrates into the very fibers of the garment. This treatment bonds to the fabric providing a fluid repellent barrier.

Each customer’s order is laundered separately with only that customer’s other items. We take care to prevent any possible cross contamination from stable to stable.
